Fall Update From Rick

Hay Everyone!

Fall Color Rides

Rides are already scheduling this year for fall colors in the Promise land. Some Saturdays are already booked up. Peak colors are usually the end of September and early October. Reserve now to come out and enjoy the beauty that fall has to offer in Promise Land, WI. We are ready to take you out for a “God Moment” family experience.

Feed a Horse Fund

Rain shortage = hay shortage = higher feed costs. Costs to feed a horse over the winter months increased $30 a horse x 7 = $210 a month this winter. We will again be seeking sponsors to “Feed a Horse” over the winter months. The amount to feed a horse each month this winter will be around $80 per month for about 6 months = $480. Please consider feeding Cheyenne, Jewel, Cody, Dusty, Izzy, Zeus and Woodstock for 1-6 months this winter. Their tummies will be very grateful! (And we will send you a tax receipt for your donation) If you make a donation to feed a horse, please include the name of the horse you wish to sponsor and the duration of time.

Promise Land Ministries would like to thank all of you that have given of your time, talents and finances to support Promise Land Ministries as we outreach to Union Gospel Mission, Gospel Hill Camp, Breaking Free, Santa Horse, St Paul Fellowship Praise in the Park, Heart of the City Concert in the Native American Housing Project and more. You all make it possible to live our mission  of using horses to engage community, build relationships and share Jesus. We appreciate your continued support by volunteering at an outreach event, coming out for a trail ride or making a tax exempt contribution. If you would like to be more involved or having any questions regarding support please reply. We’d love to hear from you!

I have been posting some personal stories that relate to our horses and ministry on our Promise Land Ministry facebook site. If you have time, take a look at our web site, www.promiselandministriesinc or our facebook site and check us out and read a story.

Blessings, Love and Prayers to you all,

Rick Barto
